Does anyone remember Tommy Gierut- Tigers catcher in 1959 [ St. Barbara parish ]? He broke
Danny Mc Keon's home run record and was being scouted by the Detroit Tiger's until they lost track
of him when he entered the U.S. Army in 1966
during the Vietnam war. Anyone who played for
the Tigers in 1958- please contact me. The coach
for the Tigers was Lenny Cudzwilo.
