| A high level of personal motivation is critical to the success of anything that you do in life. Therefore, there are generally three types of people: 1 Those that are willing to do more than enough to be successful 2 Those that are only willing to do the bare minimum to be successful and 3 Those that will only do less than what’s necessary to be successful hoping that everyone else is wrong about the benefits of hard work. No matter how much or how little athletic talent you have, if you are motivated enough to train for success, you will improve your conditioning and in doing so, improve your chances of accomplishing your goals. All the many hours that you put into your training will eventually yield results in the final minutes of games, matches, meets etc.
Why?
Because the better conditioned athletes will always outperform the lesser conditioned athletes no matter what sport. Building a base from a preseason training program, will allow you to be the one who still has the mental toughness, the strength, the power, and the motivation to get the job done.
