| New 7u/8u tournament team forming in the NW Austin area. Currently we have 7 AA/AAA players and need 4 more players to complete our team roster at 11 players. The Diamond Kings will play 2 local tournaments per month and will play a scheduled weekday game throughout the spring season. Coaching will model the same professional instruction as done with our “Big Brother” organization- Sharp End Baseball. We will focus on player development throughout the season by way of advanced fundamental instruction. A few of our season goals will be for players to consistently progress in their skills and for players to learn different positions.
We will NEVER jeopardize a player’s health to be a win-at-all-costs team and we will NOT be a trophy hunting team. Our team will have a great experience this spring. We want to teach our players the process of winning, how to play the game the right way, how to work hard, to respect others and the importance of respecting the game.
-Parents will not pay for coaching or field rentals.
-Parents will be required to pay for their players jerseys/divided cost for tournament fees/one-time "open team" league registration.
