| Week 4
8:15: Black vs. White
White -4, O/U 37
In this game, we have two teams who came out of the gate a little slower than expected, in my opinion at least. Both are loaded with talent, all high-level players on these rosters but as a team neither has shown the ability to put it together for a full game. You see the flashes from both teams at times yet both find themselves below .500 after 3 weeks. Lucky for them, one team is guaranteed a win this week lol. Black seems to be imploding, there’s bickering between players and coach, whispers of trade requests, etc. Black can do one of two things, either collapse for good or play inspired. In my opinion they will play well this week…for a quarter…then the yelling and screaming will resume per usual. I’m taking White and the Over here. Surprise, surprise right?
9:30: Blue vs. Green
Pickem, O/U 35
I’m not completely sold on either of these teams but at the end of the day they are what their record is and right now both teams are sitting atop the league looking down at the rest of us. I’m predicting a low scoring, grind it out type of game. I think Lance will do what he can to make it a dog fight, slowing down that high-powered offense led by Justin and company. However, I don’t think it will be enough to come out on top. I’m predicting a close win by Blue, as they will put pressure on Green rushing 3 and making it tough on rookie QB Andrew Shango to hit his weapons on the outside. Take Blue and the under here boys.
10:45: Yellow vs. Red
Yellow -3, O/U 48
I know what you’re thinking, Yellow is 1-2, Red is 2-1 how is Yellow favored. Well, you gotta look deeper than just their records in this one and if you do what you will see is a Yellow team who lost one game without their leader Nate, and another game in an absolute shootout to Blue this past week. They did however beat a Green team handedly, who has since gone on to win 2 straight. Red on the other hand has squeaked out a win against White last week with some late game heroics and lost to Green the week before, they could easily be 1-2. I think Nate will have his troubles with Jordan and Max (if he plays) up front, but in the end, he will have his way out there against that defense. Two of the top teams in the league here going at it, should be a fun game to watch! I’m taking Yellow and the Over in this one.
