| Yellow (-4) vs Green Nate & Co. are always favorites, we can just start by saying that. He hasn’t lost any melanin, nor has he lost a bit of shiftiness…just ask Max. Dylan blocking, Chris Sesi managing, and Vinny making plays…man oh man, Yellow will be hard to beat. Despite all that speed, plus Rix and his controversial style of recklessness and ruthlessness unseen since the likes of Metta World Peace in the NBA, Green will be no easy task for the gang in Yellow. Led by my favorite player in the league, George Abro…Green has become a legitimate contender. Lance Samona leading the defense with athletes like Andrew Shango and the newly 2-handed Shabob, Mazen Jaddou will make them hard to move the ball on. Let’s not overlook the young players in this matchup who have been shining all season. Derek Babbi and Danny “Elektrik Green” Jajo have been consistent playmakers, contributing to Yellow’s dominance. Green’s young studs, Brandon “Buttery Jukes” Nafso and Preston Rabban better be accounted for, or else. Shout out to Mark Hajjar, arguably the best CFL man that any of us have had the pleasure of knowing. In some controversial news, Mazen has guaranteed that Rix will know better than to try him with some sirya hit. I believe the exact quote I heard was, “I could bench press him, you think he would try to hit me like that?” Nate, bring us some popcorn. Shango, bring us some tobacco, Lance bring us some rolling papers.
Blue (-2.5) vs Red What a week 10 battle that was. Punts and turnovers were very exciting to watch. Let’s start with Red. The Showstopper aka the real JR is no stranger to the playoff stage. He will continue to be a factor, chasing down Justin Orow and tearing up the middle of the field on offense. Go ahead and cover him, but beware, because Max is always ready to catch the rock and run through whichever f*ckin’ idiot doesn't move out of the way. Timmy is gonna need help from his WRs, Niko Jonna and Babyface Kejbou if they are gonna pull this one off. Veteran expertise from Karl Dallou and AT will definitely be a factor in this rematch showdown. Both have been playing since back when America was allegedly great. The question for Red really is…how long will they play their backup center and WR4, Jordan Rabban, who made that lucky pick 6 to beat Blue and eliminate Black from playoffs? Ah, Blue, where do I start? Justin Orow is a true leader, forcing some of his less motivated teammates to take part in that week 10 battle, rightfully so. With Derek Putrus back anchoring the O Line next to Fadi “Alcatraz” Gulli, Justin will have more time to pass to his core of young playmakers. Look for Dyaln “Safety First” Kalabat for big plays down the field per usual and AY making defenders look foolish. Andrew Marouki deserves credit for being an exceptional cornerback, but Justin might have to use his speed and athleticism on offense to gain the advantage in this one. Biggz, another of my favorites, will play with passion and is my pick for this game’s surprise MVP. Frank the Tank will look to repeat his 300-yard performance and carry Blue when Justin needs to dump it. Major factor in this one will be Blue’s ability to get pressure on the best Acho QB the league has seen. A fight could easily break out in this one, but don't worry, Nate will be there and ready to suspend anyone involved.
Team Black: it was an honor to play this season through the ups and downs and never demand a trade or try to abandon those who trusted me to help them win. Tarik, tip of the hat to you for turning around your season and ending on a major upswing. Nick Hermiz showed he is a true leader and force to be reckoned with. Derek Rabban changed our team and made us legit every game from the center position and on defense. Cheech battled through injury and showed flashes of the freakish athleticism we know he has. Marcus caught a lot of fish on his days off and tossed a lot of people like fish on Sunday mornings. JP Namou played through a knee injury and earned all of our respect. Sulaka bounced back from significant controversy. Claudio never got his chance to play his true position, WR/QB/CB/Point Guard, but we appreciate the hustle rushing. Peter Kejbou is a s real as they come. Proud to have worn the Black #13 “Abu Mushakil.”
Team White: It isn’t your fault Anthony Acho drafted you guys. Keep your heads up, there is always next season. And no, AA, you don't automatically get SM23 next year…he goes back in the draft, you snake.
