| 2018 CFL preview
That time of year again boys where only Sundays and winning matter. We all know how that Monday morning feels after a loss although my teams usually don?t feel that feeling very much I could only be as sympathetic for all of u as I can. I will give team predictions and game previews. Feel free to respond and make this fun because this chat and league has been an Embarrassment since the draft started with team white on the clock for nearly 2 hours at the start.
Team previews
White: not only had the audacity to make us wait all that time with the first few picks he picks up rix in the supplemental cfl draft which will definitely help the passing game (if there ever was one). Realistically I see nothing but speed on team white this season. The lack of toughness in the trenches is going to be hard to overcome all season but the defense should be ok with Cheech and Jordan flying around. I?m sorry but AA hasn?t been the same qb since I made him look like manning a few years back. The play calling is too predictable and I see them winning a total of 3-4 games this year. Timmy will be playing qb by week 5 which will probably be a must win for them. Scotty and Anthony will get into a fight this year and timmy will simply just walk off the field during at least one of the games due to frustration.
Black: TROCK seems to know what he is doing with his team. I actually like what black did during draft by picking up Angelo. This team will be tougher then expected and i see them making the playoffs. They have enough speed with mike Jordan and George and they should be in position on most plays. The only issue is none of those guys are football players so I see them missing a few key flags in big games and only winning about 4-5 games. The experience of Jp and hawk will keep these guys in games which is why this team has a chance. TROCK needs to keep the composure levels on point for this team to do any damage. When do the fans demand more from mike Sesi? Is he a product of below average QB play? Is he a first team cfl wideout ? will the real mike Sesi please stand up????
Yellow: nate dog will always give his team a chance. He?s that fast and knows how to play the game and understands which calls to make offensively. The only issue i have with yellow is the lack of a vertical threat when it comes to the offensive side of the ball. I don?t see any burners or ball skills from their WRs. Again it all comes down to nate. I do see them fighting for a playoff spot but Ernie will be dreaming of last year in no time. Prediction 5-6 wins.
Red: this team looks great on paper. The skill set is there on the offensive side of the ball. Dom should have a much better season coming off his rookie year. I see him blowing up and causing mismatches for everyone besides green. It?s up to AT to put him and his team in the right calls to win. Niko will rack up the stats and catch some balls with his gold chain bouncing up and down but it won?t be enough in the end. Max will always give them a chance and be a game changing threat both ways with his athleticism. Red will have a lot of experienced guys and will be tough to beat but it all comes down to the QB for me. I haven?t seen enough outta mike for me to believe red will be THEE team to beat. I do see them winning around 6-7 games this year but getting bounced in the first round. AT should pray every night max stays healthy.
Blueeeeeee: it looks like JO took a page from lance during the draft by taking two champs from green in Rami Preston and mark. Mark will keep JO healthy and give him time which is important for JO because once he gets rattled... his whole team goes to shit. The defense will be good tho simply because Rami causes problems. I still don?t see it from the wideouts but JO is a good enough qb to give them wide open passes by buying time. They just have to catch the ball. It will be interesting to see how the story ends for blue. I see them winning 6-8 games and making noise in the playoffs. It all depends on what kind of offensive groove JO is in late in the year.
Green: aka defending champs aka money team aka your worst nightmare. Can anyone talk bad about the job that lance has done as a coach? Some call him Phil Jackson, others compare him to bill belicheck and the pats. He keeps his core playmakers in me and B-nasty and what does he do... compliments the speed with some bangers like Georgie and the Chef. Kresto will be catching hella balls and is going to see nothing but green grass in front of him once me and B-nasty wear out any other teams DBs. Shango aka QB1 has proven to be the best qb in the league and I will fight for that guy anytime of day knowing that he got implants on his hamstrings the day before the championship game. He needs to stay consistent to maintain that title but he?s a proven winner. Really all team green needs to do is stay healthy and keep ballin because there isn?t a game out there is too big for these guys. Lance is proven to make the right adjustments within the year and he simply gets the job done. I see team green winning 8 games and cruising granted no injuries. Someone please don?t tell me but show me otherwise :)
Game predictions : yellow vs red (-6) the reason for red being favored is the hunger that I think they will play with week one. Something didn?t look right for yellow at the end of last season and it seemed like they lost their edge. Nate and the boys won?t be in the groove until later on in the year and I see red taking this one early in the first half and then holding on with their defense.
Green (-10)vs blue : the prime time matchup! The rematch of the double OT thriller. Too bad this one will be over as soon as it?s starts. Too much skill too much power too much keshmora. Green will be ready because the blood is already boiling and me and Shango will take the rhythm we had in the ship to a week one victory. B-nasty gets his touchdown screen. I get my minimum one pick a game and Justin?s defense won?t look good against the firepower. They will

White vs black (pick em) : this game will be interesting simply because we don?t know which Acho squad will show up. Will they be in sync ? Will they be all over the place ? Who knows what kind of preparation they will have. The frieken guy had 8 months to think about who he was drafting and left us hanging for 2 hours. Black will be ready and I think they will
Squeak this one out late. This should be the most entertaining game of the day. TROCK will run a late conversion in to seal it and black wins by one.
Things to ponder: this will be my 6th year in the league and I?m hoping to make it my 6th consecutive championship game. I am 2-3 in those games and I have grown a respect for that game more than most. It is extremely hard to win that game. I will tip my hat to the first team that keeps me out of that game. That game and this league should have a soft spot in all our hearts because it is that much fun. Last year Ernie won his first championship game after being in the league for 18 years!!!! He never made it to one until then. Team green did it for Ernie that year and it was awesome. Don?t take this league for granted because it is that special. I hope we all stay healthy and we all respect each other out there because it is our duty as brothers. Good luck to all Sunday I love all of you unless ur on the other side of the ball that week.
