| They do have the internet in Florida, right? Just wanted to see how we are doing down there. AT give us an update when you guys sober up.

| I just saw on the Flagmag website that Our boys lost in the sweet 16 round, 7-0 to a team from Maryland.
They had a total of 29 teams in their division.

| I dont know where you got your info Francis, but it's wrong. The six of us in Florida didnt lose anything. Instead, I think it was the 10-12 guys who committed for the past 6 months to this tournament, then suddenly couldnt make it 2 days before we left, not two weeks, or two months, or any other reasonable time to replace them, but TWO DAYS. Everybody in this league is an adult, and the way a lot of people acted was far from a respectable or responsible adult level. Those of us who made it played 6 on 8 and WON. We played rosters with 25 guys, full D's, O's and special teams while we scrapped and played with the short hand we were dealt by the guys who cancelled and acted as inconsiderate as they could. Overall, those six of us who made it out and left everything on the field might have lost games, but we won something and lost something more valuable than any tournament can give. We won eachothers respect and trust while losing the same for a number of guys in the league, and that cant be measured in wins and losses. The ultimate point when I realized how ridiculous it was when everybody cancelled was when Bobby came out there with a TORN ACHILLES and did what he could to help the team while others didnt come b/c as Joey said "they werent feeling it" or "didnt want to not start both ways" or "oh, I MIGHT have to work" or just flat out no shows. He didnt record a sack, a TD, or even a flag pull, but earned more respect than words can ever say. Anyhow, thats my two cents for what its worth, and to all of you who cancelled, thanks

| I know I don't post often but I could not have said it better myself Joe K. and Joey J. Yes I was VERY disappointed in those that let us down. They were all inconsiderate and uncommitted (not only to TEAM CAMEL but to Joey J.)who worked so hard to set the entire thing up. Thanks Joey!
As for the players that did actually go and leave it all on the field - I love and respect you guys more than you know. WE WERE THE EPITOMY OF TEAM!!!! Not only did we play and beat a team with only the 6 of us but we challenged and backed eachother physically and beat squads of 20 or more.
The Ref said it best when he told me that we were the 'SCRAPPIEST' team in the tourney and that if we can actually bring players next year we would win it!!!
Thanks again to those that made the trip and again showed me the true spirt of TEAM!!!
I have not felt that emotion since my own playing days in High School and College.
Thanks again for everything guys I had a great time and would battle with and for you any day of the week.
