| Not sure if everyone heard but a car got pulled over by the RCMP on the way to the track and wrote up, i believe 3800 or 5800 dollars worth of tickest. apparently you have to have the dollie liscened or the car you are towing liscened. I know you can't get the dolly liscened i tried, and getting those stock cars liscened will definately be a problem. Any ideas of what to do.

| You licence the "dolly" as a two wheel Home Made two wheel trailer. Don't mention "Dolly" as the people at MVR may think you are trying to licence "Dolly" the sheep Clone! Also you must have lights on the car or the Trailer(Dolly) Parton by language.

| MVR just told me that I cannot license a tow dolly, but I must register the car that is being towed. Its a little hard to do that with a stock car! It seems to me the only legal solution is to either get the minister to change the regulations or to go buy a full size trailer..

| Go to MVR and licence it as a Trailer. Put lights on it and you won't have a problem. The people hauling cars around with no trailer plate and no plate on the car are the ones bringing on the heat.

| The car dollys with two wheels cannot be insured, for example they are just supposed to be used for towing your car behind your camper. The car on the dolly is supposed to be insured, therefore you are not allowed to tow stock cars on these kinds of dollys, you need to invest in a trailer.

| So, what are ppl who can't afford to buy a trailer suppose to do? Its just a pile of bull shit, I heard that if ur "dolly" is under a certun with, it don't need to be lisened, and your suppose to have lights!

| Follow the KISS principle. Licence the 2 wheel Trailer! (No such thing as a Dolly in MVR vocabulary....dolly was a Sheep) Trailer must have lights and Fenders! I've been stopped many time by police...no problem!

| Why do you guys have to ask so many questions, sometimes you guys are your own worst enemys. Now listen don,t say anything just listen.Go to M.V. and tell them you just built a little trailer for hauling around your bike or your wife or your dog anything. They will pass you a thing to sign stating that you paid all the taxes on the material that you used on the trailer and give you a plate and a regestration for your nice new trailer.I just lic.mine I think it was $38.It's so simple just don,t go in there asking a bunch of questions I just told you all you need to Know. The only thing I would do is monkey up a set of lights to put on the trunk of the car you are hauling.I think most of the problems come up when you start asking a bunch of questions.I have never had a problem.
