Ok first of all I want to give a warm congratualtions to all riders who have raced out in Avondale this year! Excellent performance!

Now, I have a few comments I want to make on the whole debate that has been here online!!

First of all, a youth is considered to be up to and including the age of 15. Therefore, any rider who is a youth is not eligible according to the "rules" to receive ANY cash prize!!

Secondly, I want to comment on the 30% divide of a rider's winnings. A rider can only receive 30% of the total winnings when there is a minimum of $3000 in cash. As far as I am aware the total prize amount in Avondale is $500 in cash! That's a big difference! You're going by rules that role with the big shots of motocross/ATV/Motorcycling!! You only have a small cash prize. Something I'm sure the top guns would laugh at!

Another statement that I would like to make is that stated in the "rules"..."The distribution of prizes must be posted BEFORE the event."

The distribution that was posted is that the top winner wins $1000. $500 in cash and supposely $500 in gift certificates. That's what was posted that's what should stand. You can not change amounts anytime you feel like it. You want to follow the big guys then act like it! You look at EVERY extreme sport. No matter if they win even a millionth of a second behind they're still behind and they is still only ONE winner!! They don't say.."well god you were so close...I think we'll split it"!..hahah i think you would get laughed right out of the competition and too embrassed to come back. They would say good job, better luck next year!

From what I can understand through all this heated discussion is that someone lost. Well you know what, better luck next year!! If a person wants to compete than they should know that there's A winner and SEVERAL losers! That's life. That's the way competition goes!!

Well I hope this all do get settled. The right way. The competitive way! You can't go back on what you posted for the grand prize now that it's the last and final race and people are realizing that not everyone is going to win. Again THAT'S LIFE!!

Good luck to you all on Sunday, play fair, give your best and DON'T FORGET TO HAVE FUN!!!

See you soon riders and race fans!!

well its about time somebody said the above statement- but that why avondale is avondale- unlike the track conditions - the rules changed to suit one rider - who ever gets sookie first - must be the guy on the yamaha- john ? someone - but hey i guess some one has to be in the owners pocket ??

I agree the prize was said to be a $1000.00 but now the prize is being divided up. So the advertising for a 1000.00 was false and it looks like it was just to suck people in to ride in avondale.

Oh my God welcome to the wonderfull world of the Avondale Speedway - where the rules change weekly - to suit whoever is whinning. Get used to it or stay away. Eventually you will learn to go the avondale to race because your hooked on racing it has nothing to do with the points or the money guys and the faster you figure that out the better off you'll be.
