| Attention Dream:
You have exactly 6 Days to come of out of retirement and realize that all of this was just a BAD DREAM!
I have played with you and against you in a couple of different leagues throughout the years. I think you are a not only good player, but also a great person. So let me give you a couple of reasons why you should reconsider your decision.
1. You are not the first player in the CFL, or any other league for that matter, to be on a team that is 0-5.
2. You owe it to yourself and your team to play out the remainder of the season regardless of the outcome because you made a COMMITTMENT to play in the CFL.
3. Any excuses like, "I'm not having fun anymore" or "I could be doing better things with my time", are simply just that. EXCUSES.
4. Finally, and most importantly, the last thing you want to do in football, or better yet in life is to be a QUITTER. If you can be a quitter in the CFL you can be a quitter life. I don't think you're a QUITTER Waseem.
So prove me right Dream and be there on Sunday. Finish out the season with the same enthusiasm you began it with! Then when the season is over, take some time to decide if it is worth it to you to spend Sunday mornings with the CFL. At least this way, you can some day tell your kid about how even though you were 0-10(???), not having any fun, and playing with a sprained whatever, you NEVER GAVE UP!
P.S. If we can give any more reasons for the Dream not to quit please do so!

When someone says they quit there is no talking them back into playing. He quit respect it and that¡¦s it. Don¡¦t make him feel any worser „²(Joey Foumia¡¦s word) than he already does.
Plus not that I didn¡¦t like everything about him on the field and as a person. When someone quits on me there is no coming back. We haven¡¦t won a game this year but people are trying their ass off and need to know that there are 6 others on the field that will do the same without a doubt (he has doubts)
I am not knocking Wasim he did what he had to do and people are going to talk shit about him but he did play his ass off and did what was best for Red. For him to come out and say I quit is a lot harder to do then what you are suggesting. He will not allow himself to come out and let his guys down. Some may say quitting is letting us down but it¡¦s not. He doesn¡¦t feel it anymore and I¡¦m sure his newborn has a lot to do with it.
Good Luck Wasim and again if I didn¡¦t see you at basketball every Monday I would stop by your house to say hello from time to time.
The league will miss you buddy and a new rookie will thank you.

| come on dream you know you want to play, but your emotions got the best of you.
This just goes to show that wesim has heart, but his drive to win and his competativness forced him into a big mistake.
Wasim has a history with all the guys and the league, and I think that one moment of crazyness doesn't define his character.
I see what your saying Ant but wasim has been here too long not to have a second chance.
He deserves it!!!!!!!!

I respectfully disagree. I say it like that because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But in this case we have a difference of opinion.
How can it be harder to call it quits than to go out there each week and get your ass kicked? I'm sure (excluding Joey J), we've all experienced it from time to time.
Plus plenty of people have come back after calling it quits. For example, Michael Jordan, Joe Lewis, Rickey Williams, and even CFL phenomenon Kevin Denha aka "Boom". So let's not count him out just yet. After all, we all make some bad (or spontaneous)decisions from time to time.

| Did any of those people quit in the middle of the season? Boom never quit he retired and came out of retirement. Wasim quit.

It's funny how history repeats its self
Hi my name is Anthony and I’m a CFL addict
I don’t know what it is. I first realized I was in trouble when I left my little brother Bruce (16) and my little cousin Roy (16) at my store in the heart of the ghetto on a Sunday morning so that I could go to one of my first games in the CFL it was at Lahser High school back then.
Time has passed and I continuously find myself doing more and more to be a part of this disease called the CFL. It’s not just me I’ve seen 50 year old men come out of retirement to play with their 19 year old sons. So this is a bigger problem then we all think. It’s spreading community wide. We as a strong and proud community have tried to keep our problem to ourselves for years we even forced a few non Chaldeans out of the circle to free them from the CFL. We have been unsuccessful in a very special case (one Russell Smith) we feel he is in way too deep and knows way too much to risk the abolishment of this ever so dedicated white boy.
As I mentioned before this has become much more then just a bunch of store owners getting together and playing flag football. It has spread to the professional field as well. Doctors, Lawyers, Dentists, Money Managers, Builders, Teachers, Restaurant owners, Mortgage Brokers and Jewelers. I even heard a rumor that father Frank wanted in but the Bishop talked him out of it.
Now to make matters worse I hear there is an elite sector of the CFL that goes by the name Team Camel (national team). I know this is hard to believe but it’s the truth.
This is growing faster then we had ever imagined it’s like the movie Fight Club with Brad Pitt. For those of you that want to get a better understanding of the CFL rent the movie.
It’s even sucking in the civilian class innocent women and children. We are talking about fathers leaving their children on a Sunday morning to risk injury to help curve the aching with in.
To all of you thinking does this guy have a life? The answer is I’m an addict. Yes I do have a life but starting the last week of August until middle November this is my life. It’s a sickness I’m sick okay (help me)
For all of you out there that need help please don’t hide it. Come forward and together we can beat this thing.
