| A note to Eno Keno
You and I have the same mind set (fuck’em all no one can beat us if we try) You and I would play one on seven if we could and still feel we had a shot at winning the game “will power”. The greatest thing about that is that we don’t have to play 1 on 7. We have a great squad. All I ask of you is to acknowledge that you understand my sets. I know what you bring. Last week was frustrating for all of us and I want to thank you from keeping me from knocking Brian’s ass out. I would have been kicked out of the first playoff game. (We would win it anyway) but if we lost it I wouldn’t be able to face the team. When I bark out orders I need to know you get it 100%, not because I don’t think you understand but more so that I explained the assignment correctly. I need your energy and speed now more than ever baby boy. Let’s do this!
A note to the Fastest Player in the league
We got in each others ass that one game. The next game Red had to play with out You, Nolan, Pete, Lamar and Marvin. Not much fun, but it helped me think about how easy the games were to win with a full squad. I couldn’t wait to get you 5 guys back. We didn’t get everyone back and we had to play 6 on 7 and when Nolan got kicked out it was 5 on 7. We got our asses handed to us again. The great thing was that we found out that no one can catch you. I mean no one, we played 5 on 7 and did what we could to block who we could and you did the rest. Lance, Zeer, Brian, Chuck, Tarak and Danny none of them even touched you on that 60 yard TD run. I know you can throw but damn 5 on 7 and they couldn’t stop you. We’re going to take advantage of that. The other bright spot was that after we kind of got on each other that game you came back and ran every play I called no questions asked. I really appreciate that Nate. Let’s bring it home baby!
A note to the Humanitarian
I’m going to call on you in most big time game situations. Be ready to play both ways. I trust you because you ask questions and take direction very well. You have a great understanding of the game and know the importance of confirming what you already know on the field. I like that about your game and attitude. When you are given the chance to bring it, not many guys can hang with you. I read people pretty well and from what I can tell you have the heart of a lion on and off the field. Having heart makes all the difference in the world. I never had any formal football training; I play on heart alone at times. You have had the training and you sure as hell have the heart. That makes for a deadly combination. Let’s lay it all out this coming week and win this thing.
A note to the real Daddy
I know we’ve butted heads in the past. I also know we have love and respect for each other. We won 2 championships together and should have won more. Now you’re talking retirement. Well Red is going to win this thing next week. No doubt, then you can retire if you want. I don’t think you will retire but if you do I’ll have to wait for Brylan to come into the league to play with another Rabban. Then he and I could win championships together. You can watch. I’ll tell you what though, without you this year there is no way we can win. I hope your knee is feeling better and you are 100% next week. We need your leadership, your speed, you understanding of the game, your lockdown attitude and ability to get open and make the big catches you are always making. We won’t be beat if you bring it!
A note to D
I’ve had you almost your whole CFL career in door and outdoor. It is great playing with you. You are a great person on and off the field. What can I say we’ve never had a misunderstanding; we have never got in each others ass and we have never butted heads. The thing that stands out the most to me though is that we have never won together. That is the one thing about you that doesn’t sit well with me. Not to say that I think there is anything wrong with us being on the same team or having the ability together to win. It’s just that we haven’t, that needs to change and it needs to change next week. I take the blame for the past, but I’m putting the future on you. Make the plays, make the sacks, tip the passes and catch the balls. I know you are up for the challenge. Don’t let me or most importantly your teammates down. It’s a challenge not a dis. I know you have our backs. Let’s do it!
A note to Money
Okay so you’ve been in a few battles with me. Sorry to say most of them were losing battles. It’s time for things to change. We need you to step up and make that first INT of the game. You have made the big play to close games and that says a lot. This coming week and in these playoffs we have to get off to a good start and in order to do that we need you to come up big early. I can remember 5 or 6 times were the ball went up in the middle of the field (your zone) and you didn’t make the play. Those plays are make or break. I have had you almost every year you’ve been in the league. I have taught you what I can and now it’s time for you to take over the games from start to finish. I know you can do it, you are a great athlete. You are starting to come into your own on the field. It’s time to shine baby! Let’s go out and win this thing.
A note to the Rookie
You haven’t been around too long but you are starting to grow on me bro. I wish you would have stayed healthy and had the chance to show more of your stuff. It’s playoff time and I’m going to use a shorter bench but stay ready.
A note to the Fearless
You have won a championship and have paid your dues. When you told me if given the chose you would rather play D then O, you got my attention and earned more respect than I already had for you. I would love to play you on the D side of the ball but right now we need you at center. Keep up the good work and the positive attitude.
A note to Brando
We’ll kid it’s been 2 sessions and I think it’s time to finally win this thing together. Just so you know Mike Zeer offered me Ray L for you in week 4 and I didn’t consider the deal for more then a second. Ray has been around longer and has more experience then you do. He has elevated his game 5 fold over the last year. It goes to show how much I believe in you. I know all the guys on Red agree. It’s time to get out there and make those big plays baby. Though I haven’t gone to you much this year you have come up big every time I have so far. Keep it up!
A note to self
Trust your guys and put them in the best position to make a play. Slap them 5 when they make the play and pick them up when they don’t. Play as a team. Have fun. Defense wins championships.

| Ant, you have total respect of all your teammates. I just want to let you, and the rest of team red know that we are readyand eager for you to lead us to the promise land. Dont sweat any of the craziness that happens on the field, we are at war on that turf and are the general. Its your job to yell and shout orders to help us get in a better position to win the big games.
Bewareboys and girls red has the total package, we're simply going to outplay the other teams and win the championship.
and when the dust settles on sunday, we will no longer be known as red the team, but, as red the CHAMPIONS!

AT that was a pretty nice/long statement i almost feel as if i want to play for you. Tony you might want to say something inspiring like that. (a text message will do)...well i dont need stiches from that one play last sunday, thank god, but i might need a new jersey since the back is all cut up from that pole and my jersey is all ripped up.
