| Black wins, Red fizzles in second half and White’s O a no shows
Game 1: Red 13 YELLOW 18
Game 2: White 2 GREEN 27
Game 3: BLACK 20 Blue 7
Week 1… was all about the Rookies!
In the first game we had Lance Samona (Red) coming up with his first career interception (should have had 3). Mike Toma (Red) played well above expectations, running catching and hitting like he’s been in the league for 3 or 4 years. Then there was high flying Anthony Acho (Yellow) this guy made some very nice catches and defensive stops, he gets his first career TD in week one very impressive. Mark Adomo (Yellow) filled in very well for 2 year player Fadi Guli and rookie Timmy Acho whose absence was approved by his coach. The last rookie that took part in the first game was Chris Sesi, this guy came in underrated, he surprised everyone on the Red team when he got the ball on a middle screen and jumped from the line of scrimmage for a 15 yard gain.
Game two was more of the same, Scotty Acho (White) played center for team most of the game, a lot of pressure comes with handling the ball on each and every play. Scotty handled it very well. John Paul Namou (White) was all over the field, he was asked to try to stop one of the best receivers in the league in Tony Attisha. John Paul ran step for step with tony most of the game, he even picked off a sure TD with an acrobatic catch in the corner of the end zone. Ramy Sulaiman (Green) anchored Green’s Defense with two interceptions one of which gave Whites it’s only points of the game.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Was the theme for Justin Kasgorgis in game three, he was banging anything that moved. I witnessed him hitting his own players when he thought the play was going to be blown dead, because no one in Blue was in hitting range of him. He has been nicknamed “Wild Animal” not sure if he approves but it seems to fit. A familiar face to everyone that played in the winter league, Brandon Delly (Black) played some solid football and seems to have picked up a step or two. The only bad apple of the whole rookie crop was/is Jeff Bahri (Blue), he was given a special tryout as was Stephan Kallabat (this will be the last time you ever hear these two names mentioned together) and was selected in the first round by Blue, only to dodge phone calls and avoid making a verbal commitment for game two. This may lead to being black listed from the CFL. Back to the good or should I say great rookie crop, Stephan like the previously mentioned guy couldn’t make it to the rookie game so a special work out was set up for him. All the coaches were present and all were blown away at how good he was/is. Stephan is not only a great player but a great kid (thanks to mom and dad George). Lebron who? This kid did everything in the game except throw a TD pass. He ran back a punt for about a forty yard gain, he caught one or two TDs, he broke up everything on the defensive side of the ball and he got Saber to come back and play another year.

| Well said A.T. all the rookies played very well and it looks like we will be have some fun this year with a nice mesh of old and young. Snake you played a hell of game (arent you glad you play basketball at my house on Sundays to toughen you up)plus I promised your pops I would watch out for you thats why I didnt hit you or maybe it was cause I couldnt catch you, but anyways Jordan your a pu$$y but I still love you. Good game black.
P.S. A.T. Jeff did call and appoligize several times he was caught up at a job site upnorth and his phone was giving him trouble, so he claims, but he says he is in and committed to play so well see how that plays out.

| i guess two touchdowns, one being a game winner with 30 seconds left, and a game turning interception aint enough to be talked about, but its all good cause this week we play black, and even though stefan is one of my best friends, imma have to shut him down and end all the talk lol love ya stef.
oh and jordan, its showtime playa. there aint no team that can stop our size, speed, and talent. good luck my friend, good luck. Oh and Roy, imma show you what you passed up on!

| Come on now J, you know this is gonna be a game so my boy just wanted to get a little dirty before the game starts. There will be plenty of hitting in this one. We'll have to see what this rookie Justin is all about when hes not tackling people, I do remember him tackling ACH in the rookie game. We'll have to see what happens.....

| i dunno justin, i mean you played a weak blue team in week one. you gotta understand my man, going up against a threesome of Derek, Fadi, and Joey F. is not exactly the easiest combo. After that, factor in nates ability to scramble, so its not going to be a cake walk! personally i am liking team yellow/gold/piss in an upset on this one!

| Hey "ACH", trust me when you guys play Green, Dylan is not the one you are going to have to worry about(Unless it's a screen pass and hes running at you,and that could get ugly), I guess it's my job to baptise all the new rookies.
