| After waiting 583485475 days for CFL to finally start, Week 1 was nothing short of spectacular, although I must say, the whole league is out of shape, myself included. I woke up Monday morning and felt like a 90 year old man, can't imagine how the lineman must have felt.
Red vs Blue
I missed most of the first half, but from what I saw, Red looks LEGIT. Not only were they missing Stefan, Derek, and Fadi, but they had a rookie/reserve playing the entire game. Although they lost Russ, Red was still able to upgrade their team with the likes of Derek Rabban (who beat the shit outta some guy in Chicago and now has a battle wound on his eye) and my personal favorite player in the league ... MAX "THE SHEKER". Not gonna lie, I fought back the tears when I heard Max was leaving Green, but it's okay, the CFL is a business, and sometimes business decisions must be made. I think Red has absolutely the best receiving core in the league, as Joey K and a rejuvenated Acho (don't think I didn't see that backside shoulder one-handed catch) put the team on their back while other players were missing. Chris Zeer hit the lotto in this draft as his receiving options are Acho, Joey, Stefan, Derek, and Max. It doesn't get any better than that. But it's still early, we'll see if Red can build some chemistry and play up to their potential.
On the other hand ... Team Blue. I would love to be in your situation, dead serious. Your the underdogs, you get disrespected in the league. Every single player on that team should be playing with a chip on there shoulder to prove everyone wrong. This team has the talent to win, but they need to start BELIEVING (I should be a coach). If Team Blue starts making some noise, AY called it! Blue will win this week.
Green vs Yellow
The game was high scoring with relentless offense and very shitty defense from both teams. I'm disgusted by Team Green's defense since that is usually our foundation. We are lucky enough to have the services of Russ Smith as our quarterback so we better make the most of this opportunity. Russ is the real deal, I thought his age might start to catch up to him, but I've never been so happy to be wrong. Russ makes everyone look and play better than they really are, thanks ma dude.
Team Green is gonna shit on everyone, get the f*ck outta our way!!!
As for yellow, don't feel bad, you lost to the best team in the league ... lol just messin. Yellow is the only team that I can't really predict, I could see them going 6-4 or 2-8. Ray is a stud on defense (jammed me every play and had his way with me ... the dude is strong). Nate and Mike Sesi controlled the offense, but Shango and Tyson are the ex-factors. Once Shango gets the hang of NON-tackle football, the boy will be GOOD.
I'm not sure why Yellow traded Vinny since he played one hell of a game, keeping our defense on its heels and mossing me in the endzone (I don't like getting embarrassed, I'll get my revenge). But hey, maybe it was the right move, we'll see what happens.
Black vs White
I have one word for Team White ... consistency. No matter what guys they lose or pick up, they always play hard and they usually win. It's kinda hard to lose when you have Joe Jonna at QB, Jordan and Mohawk running the show on defense, and Timmy on offense. Mohawk is the only man in the league that somewhat intimidates me, but he's still a huge pussy. But let's get real, the real secret to White's success is Timmy "Tebow" Acho. Me and Timmy had a great time in AZ with our best friend Ciroq Redberry and Uncle Hennessy. Thanks to Uncle Hennessy, Timmy told me some life-changing secrets that made me a better receiver and revealed the name of his future son. I will never ever repeat them to anyone so don't ask.
And lastly Team Black. I thought J.P. looked real good and way more athletic this year (probably because he's been staying away from Uncle Hennessy). Black has weapons EVERYWHERE. To me they are the best team on paper but as we all know, that means shit. Black's real problem is Team Green, because I am wayyyy to big and strong for Dylan to block, so avoid Team Green and you guys are looking pretty good.
Anyways I'm sick of typing, so I'm gonna stop here. Quick message to any team that beats Team Green ... I have a great memory, so I will remember you, and in 5 years when I become a dentist, I will rip your f*uckin teeth out!!! Don't do it bloodbath!

| Thanks for the great recap teammate...and now for the Stat of the Week:
The last 5 championship teams have started the season 1-0. So good luck to Red, White, and of course Green in 2012. Better luck next year everyone else!
