| Game 1 ? White v. Black (-2)
(GAME OF THE WEEK)
Mike Sesi TD! Mike Sesi TD! Mike Sesi TD! ? Wasn?t long ago that was the story the last time these two teams squared off. Lucky for us White is a different team now, literally. Showstopper will make a difference in this game no question. ?The Glove? (pretty weird nick name but I?ll run with it), will make a difference in this game. Enough of a difference to change the result? Only time will tell. T-Rock has his boys rolling, mid-season MVP hands down and it?s not even close. His offense is clicking and will be tough to stop come Sunday. Good luck Mike, I hope you roll your ankle on the walk in and you can?t play, but miraculously recover an hour later (cc. ?The Deal? from last night).
Game 2 ? Blue v. Green (EVEN)
Championship rematch, rematch. Green is struggling in a big way offensively but damn that defense is good. Mazen, Shango, Brandon in the secondary with Lance and Georgie is just stupid. Shout out to Donny J playing very well also, you guys balled out last week, what a fucking battle that was. I predict Green bounces back against a surprisingly weak defense for Blue. Not typical of JO?s teams in the past, through 5 games 103 points allowed! That?s dangerously close to as bad as Red, which is a place no one should want to be. At the end of the day you gotta get stops to win, so until that is fixed Blue will struggle against the elite, and Green is definitely elite.
Game 3 ? Red v. Yellow (-35)
Yellow needs this one if they want to stay in the running for the playoffs. Lucky for them they get to play Red on Sunday who are reeling at 0-5, and need to win out to have a chance at sneaking in. That?s a tall order this week?I predict the Nate Show will return to run wild on that last place defense and never look back. However, wouldn?t it be a much more interesting game if Nate let Timmy play QB against his old team after all that drama from yesterday? Nate make it happen, the W is secured regardless of who?s under center. I?m just saying, think about it.
Note: Red, if you think I?m being a little harsh, win. We?re all rooting for you, would love to seal Yellow?s fate. No one wants to play Nate in the playoffs so you?d be doing everyone a big favor.
