We have a great group of kids and an awesome bunch of parents returning. Texas Fire has been a super competitive organization and we look forward to continuing that tradition for Spring 2023!
Our Baseball Club is making a very strong addition to the coaching staff this season! Texas Fire is pleased to welcome Coach Jeff Ontiveros to the Team!
Coach Ontiveros was born and raised in the Central Texas Area. He graduated from Round Rock High School in 1998. He is known for his many records and achievements while playing for the University of Texas from 1998-2002 and was a member of the 2002 College World Series Team. He finished his outstanding college career as the school's all-time leader in games played, home runs (single season & career), extra-base hits, total bases and hit by pitches. He went on to be drafted to the Boston Red Sox organization for the next 5 years with a cumulative .242 BA before returning to Central Texas in 2006. At that time he decided to give back to his community as it gave so much to him. Coach Ontiveros has worked the last 15 years coaching the youth in central Texas, ages 8-16. In that time he has put together multiple championship teams that have competed all over the State of Texas, Georgia and Alabama. Coach Ontiveros’ main philosophy is and has always been to develop players into great young men while preparing them for High School and College baseball.
