At Shibe Park in Philadelphia, the Detroit Tigers and the Philadelphia A's are tied 1-1 after 24 innings when the game is called because of darkness. The A's score first in the 4th inning on a Detroit error. The Tigers tie the game in the 7th on a ground out. The last 17 innings are scoreless. Only 4 pitchers are used in the game: Les Mueller (19-2/3rd innings) and Dissy Trout (the last 4-1/3rd) for the Tigers Russ Christopher (13 innings) and Joe Berry (the final 11) for Philadelphia.

That said...I think Colton Sirek could have kept right on pitching yesterday...at least to the 19th if need be - but - I'm glad you guys pulled it off in the bottom of the 9th.

Good job this weekend...looks like the Knights are back to being the Knights!

2 games, 18 innings, only 2 pitchers needed - that's what I'm talking about - finish what you start - no pitch counts...
