Diamonds Storm Back For Tie
The York Diamonds got a measure of revenge on long-time tournament nemesis the Nepean Brewers. The Diamonds scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game 6-6. Rudy Naraine's single tied the game. Then the umpire made an absolutely horrendous call on a pickoff play to end the game, on a play where Naraine was CLEARLY safe.
Eric Foley threw a complete game for York. Foley also hit a 2-run homer and Jon Zywicki countered with a solo shot for the Brewers.
