Braves Knock Out Diamonds
Future Diamond, Neil Parekh flew out in all 3 at-bats, but fortunately for Neil, his Ottawa Braves teammates hit better than he did and used a 7-run fifth inning to mercy the York Diamonds 8-1. Starter Neil Quimby was let down by some atrocious York defense and took the loss.
Pete Zakkak homered to give York the lead in the third. Zajkkak and Don Cantwell each had 2 hits.
