Bats Blistered As Kelly Goobers Fall to TMT: 14-7
Bats were blistered on Wednesday, but Kelly Goobers couldn't quite get the job done against TMT and lost 14-7.
The Kelly Goobers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of TMT, giving up 14 runs.
TMT captured the lead in the first inning when Timmy T singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, TMT tied things up at three when #47 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
TMT took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth #69's sac fly scored one run for TMT, Black Tee Beard singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and #23 singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
TMT scored five runs in the fifth inning. #12, Black Tee Red Stripe, #69, and Black Tee Beard each drove in runs during the inning.
Ryan Swire led things off in the pitcher's circle for Kelly Goobers. He allowed 19 hits and 14 runs over five and two-thirds innings.
Kelly Goobers tallied 13 hits. Kyle Gerrard, Bobby Chapman, and Ariah Tell all had multiple hits for Kelly Goobers. Tell, Chapman, and Gerrard all had two hits to lead Kelly Goobers.
