Beard Tosses a 1-hitter in the official home opener!
In his first ever varsity start on the mound, Dunedin freshman lefty, Trey Beard, took a perfect game to the brink as Dunedin shutout Largo by a final score of 6-0. Beard (2-0) surrendered the only hit with 2 outs in the 7th inning before retiring the side two batters later to preserve the complete game shutout. Offensively, Mitchell Mussler collected 2 of Dunedin's 5 hits on the night. Marcus Brodil had a big RBI triple to get the Falcons on the scoreboard early.
