LBC scored a bunch late to take game 1 by a score of 13-12. Cornerstone left the bases loaded in the 7th as LBC squeezed the final out. LBC was led by Mark Sloan with four hits, Steve Pilcher, Ralph Polichetti and super sub Perry Delisle each had 3 hits to carry the attack.
Cornerstone Services had an 8-4 lead after 3 innings, but couldn't close on a strong note. The team had 25 batters reach base, but could only muster 12 runs, leaving the bases loaded in two innings. Cornerstone's offense was led by Charlie Kacamburas' four hits and Mike Morgan's 3 hits, but they couldn't get either player to touch home plate that game.
