In a Game of Walks, Astros Walked Slightly More To Secure W
On an intermittently sunny, rainy, shady, and breezy day in Manchester, the NH Astros barely came out ahead of the MA Millers before the heavens opened and the Divinity showed their apparent dissatisfaction with our collective Walk fest. The Millers allowed 16 Walks, and the Astros allowed 5. If you want to put your team(s) in peril, BB's are a great way to do it! The Millers actually out-hit the Astros 12-10, but the relatively tight strike zone was not kind to either team, and the Astros won with a bases-loaded walk off in the time-limited bottom of the 8th to secure the victory. The NH Astros travel to Concord next Saturday to take on the NH Brewers, while the MA Millers host the NH Granite back in North Chelmsford.
Ps. Jason Robart of the Millers came to game and was hurt before his first AB.
