Goobers Softball Lose To Shattered Dreams
Goobers Softball lost to Shattered Dreams 9-6 on Tuesday.
Shattered Dreams were the first to get on the board in the first when Blue Tee singled, scoring one run.
Shattered Dreams added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Black Tee tripled to center field, and #4 hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
Shattered Dreams added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Bobby Chapman induced Blue Jacket to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and #8 singled, scoring two runs.
Chapman led things off in the circle for Goobers Softball. The righty allowed 16 hits and nine runs (eight earned) over five innings, striking out one and walking none.
Goobers Softball accumulated 16 hits in the game. Brian Fraser led Goobers Softball with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Sean Danilko, JP Anderson, Josh Pileggi, Chapman, Ariah Tell, and Kevin Robbie each collected two hits for Goobers Softball.
