Darryl Has Lots Of Hits In Goobers Tie vs Thunder Buffaloes

Goobers Softball tied Thunder buffaloes 9-9 on Tuesday as Darryl had four hits in four at bats. Darryl singled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Goobers Softball got on the board in the top of the first inning after Thunder buffaloes committed an error, and Bryan Ploen singled, each scoring one run.

Thunder buffaloes flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 5-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by #2 that drove in two.

Goobers Softball flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs on six hits to take the lead, 9-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Adam Sawoszczuk that drove in two.

#25 singled to center field, which helped Thunder buffaloes tie the game at nine in the bottom of the seventh.

Sean Danilko stepped in the circle first for Goobers Softball. The starting pitcher allowed 11 hits and nine runs (six earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking two.

Goobers Softball accumulated 18 hits in the game. Sawoszczuk, Ploen, and Ryan McNeil each drove in two runs for Goobers Softball. Danilko, Jon Boodhoo, and Bobby Chapman each collected multiple hits for Goobers Softball.

#25, #4, and #33 each collected two hits for Thunder buffaloes. #80, #2, and #21 each drove in two runs for Thunder buffaloes. Thunder buffaloes turned one double play in the game.

Next up for Goobers Softball is a game against Heartbreakers on Tuesday.
