Astros Start Slow, Bats Awake From Fifth Inning On
The Astros put the sting of their opening day defeat behind them by getting on the right side of the ledger, with eleven of their fifteen batters securing at least one hit, and four Astros pounding out two hits each. Starter Peter Sirois continued his second season in the NELBL with his first W of the season, going five innings with three K's while allowing only a pair of hits. The Astros head north to Bedford next Saturday with a tilt against NH Mets, while the MA Warriors also head north to Concord for a contest against the NH Brewers.
