"Shamorcks Down East Side"
The East Side Merchants (5-12, 3-7) fell yet again to a very strong Shamrocks ball club, 6-0 at Midway Stadium on Tuesday night. Deryk Marks started the contest and allowed only three earned runs on eight hits through a seven inning complete game. Despite three errors Marks threw extremely well, retiring the final 13 batters he faced, five on strikeouts. The Merchants are back in League action tomorrow night against the Saint Paul Mudhens at Dunning Stadium.
