"Merchants Fall Flat Again"
The East Side Merchants (4-11, 2-6) fell flat yet again to league rival, Highland Park on Saturday afternoon at Dunning Stadium. Starter Wes Olson took the loss after suffering a four-run fourth-inning before leaving way to Jeff Edlefsen. The Merchants were led at the plate by Jay Melson who was 2-3 on the day with a double and a triple. The Merchants are back with the latter half of their doubleheader today against the Mudhens at Dunning Stadium.
