"East Side Merchants Open Succesful"
Deryk Marks got things started with a bang on Saturday with a huge bases-loaded Grand Slam in the second inning against the high-powered Tri-City Shark. On the mound, East Side received solid performances from newcomers Wes Olson and Moses Christenson. Rookie Michael Edlefsen also recorded his first Merchant hit, run, and rbi in the contest.
