Muhlenberg Downs Doylestown 7-2
The Muhlenberg A's (6-2, 1-0) scored three runs in the first inning highlighted by Jordan Jeter's RBI double and four runs in the fourth on Frandy Francisco's three run double to hold onto a 7-2 non-league win over Doyelestown. The A's were led on the mound by Tyler Sassaman and Elijah Keller who combined on throwing a complete game scattering eight hits while striking out eight. "This team is playing solid defense and we continue to get real good starting pitching," said assistant coach Mark Christman. "The boys are a fun group to be around."
Next up for the A's, Pottsville 7pm Monday night at Gochnauer Field.
