Miller Time As A's Shutout West Enders
At Gochnauer Field, Derrick Miller tip-toed his way through six innings of shutout baseball getting out of multiple jams to pick up his first win of the season. Miller allowed four hits while striking out four. Chris Drobnick threw a scoreless seventh for Muhlenberg (2-1, 6-3). Drobnick keyed the offense with his first inning two-run single to give the A's the early 2-0 lead. In the third, Josh Kline singled, Drobnick walked, Frandy Francisco singled to load the bases. Anthony Pizzo ripped an RBI single to extend the lead to 4-0. "The boys had to forget about the game 1 loss and get back to work right away," said assistant coach Tony Morganti. "The team played a very sound ballgame." Next up for Muhlenberg, Sunday night at Gochnauer Field vs. Wyomissing at 6:30PM.
