South Park Shuts Out Plum
South Park starting pitcher Adam Dodson worked 4 scoreless innings around 3 hits and 3 walks in picking up his first win of the year. Cory Humphreys pitched a scoreless 5th with 2 K's to finish out the game. South Park put up runs in every inning to invoke the 10 run rule after 4 1/2. Carter Grote, playing in his first game of the 2017 DNL campaign after finishing his stellar career at Division 1 Furman University, ignited the SP offense by going 2-3 with a double and driving in 2. Nick Arnoni's first inning blast drove in 2 to stake South Park to an early lead they'd never relinquish. Grote, Anthony Monaco, Dylan Kugler and Ryan Dodson all had 2 hits in the victory.
