Patriots Double Up Stings 6-3

The Patriots ended a two game skid with a 6-3 win over the South Florida Sting. The m&m boys were at it again. Starter Mikey Campos and winning pitcher Monchi Quintero shut down the Stings. Two of the Stings runs came on three consecutive walks, when the plate umpire who was wearing new contact lenses, missed a good game. David Villa and Sandro Gordillo led the Patriot attack with 2-hits each and Wilfredo Navarro singled in 2-runs. The defensive play of the game came from first baseman Chino Gonzalez cutting of a throw from center and running down a base runner. Catcher Jose Alvarado threw out a base stealer and was solid behind the plate.
