Patriots Walk to 6th Straight
The Patriots collected 13 walks en route to a 7-1 win over the Tamiami Twins. Pitching and defense was the difference as the Pats won their 6th straight. Starter and winning pitcher Andres Rivera gave up just 1-run on 1-hit thru 3 innings of work. Monchi Quintero pitched the last three innings, allowing no runs, no hits and struck out three. The duo gave up just 1-walk and a hit batter. Chris Gandara continued his excellent defensive play in center field making yet another diving catch to rob a hit. The Patriots are now 9-4 on the season.
