Monchi Quintero yielded just 1-unearned run on 2 hits and struck out 10, leading the Patriots to their 12th straight win at Tamiami. The 3-1 victory over the Miami Stings kept the Patriots in 1st place with a 15-4 record. With the game scoreless in the 5th, David Villa led off the inning with a double to center and later scored the game's 1st run on Quintero's sac fly.
