York Wakes Up Late
The Diamonds trailed the Giants 2-0 into the bottom of the 6th, before the team woke scoring 15 runs over the final three frames to in 15-4. Bruce Meacock worked into the 7th for the win. Dave Quennell picked up the save. Greg Shannon had 3 hits for York, including a home run. Pino Criminis, Paul Freeman, and Dave Quennell had 2 hits each. Manager Quennell may have lost his mind, as Freeman batted in the cleanup spot.
