Fruit of the Poisonous Tree
The Real Splitters are a team with a chance to be playing on the final night of spring league but nothing is guaranteed. They faced Prestige Worldwide on Monday and despite best efforts by PW’s Brayden Jacobson and Tyler Anton (23 and 18 respectively) the Splitters just had too much fire power. Though on some nights they can get by on talent alone, the Splitters are playing with fire beyond the arc. When it’s falling, they are deadly because they have the defense and interior options to balance it out into a potent attack. When it’s not falling, they are exposed. On this night, they were not falling but talent alone brought the W home. The final score was 78-62. Matt Glibota led the Real Splitters with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists – all team highs.
