Royals get by Lakers in tightly contested battle
The Royals and Lakers played in a classic, not the prettiest classic however. The low score resembled stretches in the game where both teams were ice cold. The Royals were cold shooting early but heated up in the 2nd half. The Lakers had moments of extremely hot shooting but it fizzled out with missed layups and turnovers that continue to plague the team. The teams exchanged leads in the final minutes but the Royals put the lead to 3 and stopped the Lakers on back to back possessions to clinch up a hard fought win.
