Lakers win do or die game but lose Delattre
Just when it looked as glum as could be for the Lakers it now looks worse. Captain Dave Delattre suffered a questionably severe injury just 3 minutes into the Lakers finale. Due to that injury, the game had to change to 4's. Surprisingly after the injury, the team played completely inspired basketball. They had amazing defense that held the highpowered Sonics offense to just 13 points at half. Early in the 2nd half the team led 38-19, but then an unbelievable 21-0 Sonics run gave the Sonics the lead. The Lakers looked dead and buried but the team bounced back and hit crucial shots including a late banked 3 to seal the huge W up and keep their playoff hopes alive but riding on the Sonics and Wizards in their respective finales.
