The Bulldogs would jump all over The Clinic Club, with a quick goal by Stephen Mancuso from Jonathan Greenspan, a they would pepper The Clinic Club's fill-in goalie, Scott Brady. Colin McMullen from new Bulldog, Phil Karnicki, and Steve Parry, would make it 2-0, but the Brady's first period performance was to be lauded, with a 90% save percentage, as he was the main reason why The Clinic Club was in it after the intermission. An early second period goal by The Clinic Club's "Father" Stephen Priest from Matt Montville, would halve their deficit, but would be unable to level it because the next goal would be for the K-9 Unit, Karnicki from Bill "Mondo" Mondano. Now 3-1, the Bulldogs began to bite harder, and go further ahead with another new Bulldog, Justin Letizia, who after receiving a pass from Karnicki, would dangle through various members of The Clinic Club, and go high. At 4-1, it would go into the third period with the Bulldogs in full control, also leading on shots at a mammoth clip of 37-9. But, even so, with the play of Brady and The Clinic Club showing enough, it wouldn't be over until it was over. The third period would mostly be a non-event, due to the lopsided play, as the Bulldogs focused on puck retention. Still though, Brady was continuing his dynamic performance between the pipes for The Clinic Club, maintaining a high save percentage. That percentage would dip a bit when Letizia would beat Brady for his second goal, now 5-1, and the game would continue on with more Brady saves. The life was sucked out of this game, and the only other action on the scoresheet would be Letizia completing his hat trick for a 6-1 scoreline, in which the Bulldogs would outshoot The Clinic Club 59-14. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Justin Letizia (3G), and Phil Karnicki (1G, 2A). Hono(u)rable mention and big ups to Scott Brady, who had 53 saves on 59 shots for a save percentage of 89.8.
