The Biohazards would go ahead early when Nick Raite, skating tonight, and JP Salvesen would assist Sean "Babyface" Feeney, for the only goal of the first period as Matt Rovetto would keep Green Brook off the board. The second period would begin with the Biohazards on eight shots, and Green Brook on five, but Rovetto and Berets goalie Nuno Costa would continue their stellar play. Costa would keep his team down one, while Rovetto wouldn't yield to the Berets. But one of these would change, with the Biohazards going 2-0 up when Babyface would finish another from Raite, and that scoreline would hold going into the third period. The shot totals would now be 18-14 in favor of the Biohazards, who would extend their lead with the dekes of Greg "Turn Down for What" Ternlund, but Green Brook would finally elude Rovetto with Joe Patrick from Milton Solis to cut into their deficit, which was now 3-1. Looking to pull closer, Green Brook would attack with more fervor, which would leave them vulnerable at the back; they would be hit with a Biohazards goal by Martin Rabe from Brad Cummings for what was now 4-1, which would remain for the final. Matt Rovetto (1GA, 21 saves) won the Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award.
