The Hooligans and the Archers were the finalists in last season's competition, which was won by the Danger Zoners in overtime. This would be the first meeting between these two since that Final, and was also the PTAHL Game of the Week, broadcast by Telemundo. The first period would be up and down with each team producing their share of chances. James Coughlin of the Hooligans would end the period with six saves, while Tyler Armstrong would finish with five; with the only blemish on either's resume a Chris Gallo goal from Joe Hutchison for a 1-0 Hooligans lead. The second period would be similar to the first in that, each goalie continued their stellar play. With a goal by Ben "King Ghidorah" Ghiano on a one-timer from Pete Sztankovits, but that tie wouldn't last long because Ryan Jones would when he would jam a puck just inside the post. The shot totals were now 12-12, as both teams would go for more goals. That wouldn't be easy due to the great play of Coughlin and Armstrong, but the Hooligans would double their advantage when Dylan Jones would go high, and would go 4-1 up when Gallo would bag his second goal from Hutchison. That 4-1 scoreline in favor of the Hooligans would hold for the final, and now the Hooligans had the maximum of nine points from their first three games. A fairly uncommon outcome on the shot tally, it would finish 18-17 in favor of the Archers. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Chris Gallo (2G), Joe Hutchison (2A), and James Coughlin (1GA, 17 saves on 18 shots).
