The opening goal of this one was by the Bulldogs' Bill "Mondo" Mondano when he slapped in from the point from Jonathan Greenspan. That would be the only goal of a first period in which the shots would be low, at 8-3 Bulldogs. The second period would begin Andrew "The Ox" Viox's unassisted goal, which would level it for the Sewer Rats. Darren Kamikura would follow this with allow finish for 2-1 Sewer Rats, and Viox would add another to make it 3-1 going into the third period. The shot totals were now 15-9 Bulldogs, as Mat Laskowski would be having a good game in net for the Rodents, flashing the leather when necessary, and keeping the 'Dogs off the board in the second period. An early third period goal, Ralph Bowen from Mike Schumer, would bring the Sewer Rats' lead to 4-1, and with Laskowski dominating effectively patrolling the crease, they would win by that final. The final shot totals were 21-18 Bulldogs, as Laskowski won the Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award, with 1GA, 20 saves.
