The Archers would control the early going, notching the game's first five shots along the way, and would go 1-0 up with Ben "King Ghidorah" Ghiano from Kyle Fischbach. The Danger Zoners would double their lead with Josh "Sumo" Sumoski when he would deflect Mindy "The Dragon" Drexel's slap shot in low. Ooff! would pull back the Sumoski goal when Tommy "The Mayor" McNulty would go high from Nicole Terpak, and it would be 2-1 Archers going into the second period, who would also lead on shots 7-2. Ten seconds into the second period, Ooff! would level it on a Chris Fagan goal, after Jimmy DiPaolo won the faceoff to him. One minute later, Terpak would leapfrog Ooff! ahead with a laser of a wrister, and it was now 3-2, which would hold going into the third period. Ooff! now led on shots at 9-8. The third period would be all Ooff!, who would fill the net four times, first with McNulty unassisted. The next three goals would be DiPaolo's for a natural hat trick: The first two would be unassisted, and the last would be from Ed "The Giraffe" Jefferys. That DiPaolo natural hat trick would bring it to 7-2 Ooff!, which was the final; the final shot totals would be 18-14 Ooff!. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Jimmy DiPaolo (3G, 1A).
