30 seconds in, the Tropics would grab the lead after a fantastic deke by Peter Krzewinski, before he would go high. Dynamo would wake up and level it on a Brock "The Rock" Forrest deke, not completely dissimilar to Krzewinski's, and Mike Loricco would add the second Dynamo goal from Brock and Beuk Forrest. Dynamo would go 3-1 up when Brad Bowers would finish after a gorgeous Brock feed, then Beuk would fire off a laser for 4-1. After a goal by Matt Janos from Brock, it would be 5-1, which would hold for the second period, with the shot totals at 14-7 Dynamo. The second period would begin with more Dynamo: Greg Bowers unassisted. The Tropics would pull back a goal through Eric Hoffman from Ryan Levy, but there was Dynamo with Brad Bowers from Brock and Beuk. Now 7-2, Dynamo increased their lead when Jonathan Krug would one-time from Brad Bowers and Beuk, but Tommy Fisher would answer for the Tropics, and it was now 8-3. The Tropics would come closer with Dion Yan from Kevin Morello, but Brock would answer with another goal, and assist Loricco for 10-4. That would be the scoreline going into the third period, with the shots now 30-14 Dynamo. With it so lopsided, the third period would be mostly a non-event, but Brock would assist Greg Bowers, then get his fourth goal for 12-4, which would be the final, with the shots 44-22 in favor of Dynamo. Brock Forrest would continue his dominant start to the season and have his best PTAHL game ever, winning the Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award, with 4G, 5A.
