Chris Fagan would score what was possibly the fastest goal in PTAHL history when he grabbed the puck after a faceoff win by Jimmy DiPaolo and would go down the right wing and wrist high. On the same shift, Fagan would score from Dennis Costello, and it was now 2-0, which would be the score going into the second period. The first period shot totals would be 6-6. Dean Bogner of Ooff! and James Coughlin of the Hooligans would keep all pucks out in the second period. Bogner would have seven saves, Coughlin three, but near the end of the second period, Gavin Costello would be assessed a trip, which would mean a Hooligans power play. During that power play, Ryan Jones would pull the Hooligans to down 2-1, and Costello would exit the box. Fagan would answer with another point, this one an assist on Brendan Kinney's goal, but Davey Leong from Chris Gallo would follow for the Hooligans, and it would now be 3-2 Ooff!. Davey Leong would then make an intelligent play when, while below the goal line in the offensive zone, he would bank the puck off Bogner and go in, which would level it at 3-3. It would appear as if overtime would be needed to decide a possible winner, but a late Brendan Kinney goal would ensure that wouldn't be the case, as Ooff! would win 4-3. The final shot totals would be 25-17 Hooligans. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Chris Fagan (2G, 1A).
