Colin Riedel of the Brewers would have a fantastic first period, stopping 14/16 shots. The only Phantoms goals would be Christian Hoppeler on a shorthander (after an interference to Mike Finnen) from Kevin Inglis, and Chris "The Kazmanian Devil" from Hoppeler and Doug Meade. The first period shot totals would be 16-5 Phantoms, but the Brewers would get on the board with a shorthander of their own (after a trip to Mark Esposito), when Ryan "Smash" Adams would bang in from Anthony "The Inferno" Inverno. Now 2-1, the Phantoms would pip that back with a power play goal by Matt Bucci from Brian Modzelewski and The Kazmanian Devil, and Bucci would increase the lead to 4-1 unassisted, before Hoppeler from The Kazmanian Devil and Bucci would bring it to 5-1. Finnen from Doug Meade and Lou LoSapio would be next for the Phantoms, but the Brewers would have some late second period magic with Captain Greg Shiff unassisted, and Inverno unassisted, and it would now be a bit of a new game, now 6-3 Phantoms. But before the end of the period, Bucci would complete his hat trick, quelling the Brewers' momentum going into the intermission. The shot totals would now be 26-16. The Phantoms would be pegged back to 7-4 when Smash Adams would begin the third period with a Brewers goal, but Bucci would complete his hat trick from Kevin Inglis, and it would now be 8-4. Inverno The Inferno would be the next Brewers goal, but that would quickly be canceled out by Bucci unassisted, before Doug Meade would increase it to 9-5 from Buonomo. The final Phantoms' goal would be Bucci for his fifth, but the game's final goal would be Butterman from Smash Adams, in what would be a 10-6 Phantoms win. The final shot totals would be 42-31 Phantoms. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Matt Bucci (5G, 1A).
