The first period would belong to Flaming Dragon II, who would finish it up 4-1; it would begin with a goal by Tyler Mishchenko from Mitch Crenshaw and Chris Crenshaw, but Dynamo would level it when Chris Migliaro would go high from Mark Fisher. Another Mishchenko goal, this one from just Mitch Crenshaw, would regain the Dragon lead, and Mitch Crenshaw from Captain Steve "Ozzy" Osvold and Mishchenko would bring it to 3-1. The final goal of the first period would be Andrew "Lil 'Drew" Park from Jake "The Snake" Worby, for 4-1 Dragon, who would also lead on shots at 17-10. The second period would begin with The Snake's goal, then an immediate Justin Waldron goal from The Snake. Now 6-1 Dragon, Dynamo would peel off a goal with Brock "The Rock" Forrest from Beuk Forrest, on a short handed goal after a trip to Chris Migliaro. Dragon would cancel out Forrest's goal when Ernie "Big Ern" Park would finish on a great play from Lil 'Drew and Waldron, but Dynamo would stay in it with a Mike Migliaro low goal from Chris Migliaro, for 7-3. Dynamo would quickly follow this with Beuk Forrest from Brock Forrest, possibly earning some late third period momentum, now down 7-4, but Mitch Crenshaw from Ozzy, and Ozzy from Mitch Crenshaw would ensure that Dragon would be the one going into the third with the momentum, ahead 9-4. The shot totals would now be 36-20 Dragon. Due to the lopsided scoreline, the third period would be mostly a non-event, but Brock Forrest would be assessed a hook which would put Dragon on a power play. A power play goal by Lil' Drew from Big Ern and The Snake would mean running time at a six goal lead, now 10-4. But the game would have one final goal in it, Matt Skolsky from Jonathan Krug for Dynamo, and it would be a 10-5 Flaming Dragon II win, with the final shot totals 48-35 for Dragon. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Mitch Crenshaw (2G, 3A).
