Ten seconds into the game, Flaming Dragon II would go up when Captain Steve "Ozzy" Osvold would snipe from the left wing, his off wing. Ozzy would then follow this with a goal on the same shift, when Andrew "Lil 'Drew" Park would assist him, and less than a minute in, it was 2-0 Dragon. The first PTAHL goal in Pride history would come when Adam Hileman would be assisted by Josh Newberg, but Justin Waldron would cancel that out with a goal of his own for Dragon, then Ernie "Big Ern" Park would add to the Dragon lead from Waldron. Ozzy would complete his hat trick from Big Ern, but the Pride would peel of a goal when Ken Bode would assist Newberg on a highlight reel finish. Now 5-2, Ozzy would notch his fourth goal when Sean "Heinz 57" would assist, then the first period was closed out with the precise passing of the Parks, when Lil' Drew and Big Ern would play back and forth, before Lil' Drew teed off for 7-2. The shot totals were 12-8 in favor of Flaming Dragon II. The Pride would come out for the second period with some energy, pulling closer when Joseph Ferrara would score, but Ozzy from Big Ern, then Pat Perez from Big Ern would balloon the Pride deficit to 9-3. Big Ern from Adam "Manhandle" Crandall would follow, and Lil 'Drew from Perez would bring it to 11-3. Newberg would score for the Pride, but Heinz 57 would round out the period's scoring, and it was 12-4 Flaming Dragon. The shot totals were now 26-12. Due to the third period being so lopsided, it was mostly a non-event, but still Manhandle would finish from Big Ern for 13-4. Ozzy from Big Ern would be next, but Newberg would complete his hat trick and make it 14-5. The final two goals of the game were Ozzy unassisted, and Big Ern for a hat trick from Lil' Drew, in a 16-5 Flaming Dragon II win, outshooting the Pride 36-15. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Ernie "Big Ern" Park (3G, 6A), and Steve "Ozzy" Osvold (7G). Big Ern's nine point game was likely a PTAHL record or close to it, while the same could be said for Ozzy's seven goal performance.
