Less than a minute in, Justin Letizia would go high for 1-0 Bulldogs, then he would finish from Colin McMullen. Letizia would then complete his natural hat trick from Jonathan Greenspan after a give and go during which Letizia would one time in. The first period scoring would be rounded out with McMullen from Greenspan, and the Bulldogs would go into the second period ahead 4-0, and 16-5 on shots. After the intermission, McMullen would pick up right where he would leave off, with a goal from Captain Alex "Sputnik" Sinelnikov. Now down 5-0 The Clinic Club would be hanging on by a thread, but they would pull closer on Alden Bustos' low five hole breakaway goal. The Clinic Club would then further narrow their deficit when Dave Winters would hit the target from Matt Montville, and it would appear that a comeback would be on. But the Bulldogs would be having none of that, and would instead pip those two goals back, first with Letizia from McMullen and Greenspan, then with Greenspan from McMullen. The final goal of the second period would be for The Clinic Club, when Dave Persson from Glen Cullen would fire home from the slot, on a one timer after receiving the puck from the corner. At 7-3 Bulldogs, they go into the third period up by that margin, and ahead on shots at 25-11. The third period would begin with Letizia lighting the lamp for his fifth goal, and one final Bulldogs goal would come when Bill "Mondo" Mondano would go off the pipe and in, for 9-3 , which would hold for the final for a Bulldogs win. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Justin Letizia (5G), Colin McMullen (2G, 3A), and Jonathan Greenspan (1G, 3A).
