he Biohazards would go ahead with a low goal by Achilles Alon from Martin Rabe, but Joe Patrick would level it from Keith "The Fireball" Fimiani before Darren Kamikura from Milton Solis would put Green Brook in the lead. Unwilling to go into the intermission down by one, with eighteen seconds remaining, Alon would add another, this one unassisted, for 2-2 at the end of the first period, with the shot totals in favor of Green Brook, 12-11. The second period would see the Biohazards go 3-2 up when Sean "Babyface" Feeney would score from JP Salvesen, but the back and forth tussle would continue when Kamikura would go low for Green Brook, now 3-3. That 3-3 scoreline would appear to hold until the buzzer would hit, but the Biohazards would be specializing in late period goals, and would do so again with one second on the clock when Bill Goffredo would hit the target for 4-3, with the shot totals unchanged in the margin of plus one for Green Brook, now 22-21. The third period would begin with Kamikura unassisted for his hat trick goal, but the Biohazards would then take over from there: Adam Steckler would give his crew the lead from John Lattanzio, then Alon would complete his hat trick from Joe Greco. 6-4 Biohazards, they would further zoom ahead when Babyface and Greco would add goals, and it would be 8-4, which would end up as the final. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Achilles Alon (3G).
